JCDVPP will be presenting their latest online seminar on  Wednesday 20th August at 6:30pm.

It will take a look Fogiveness and feature the personal journey of forgiveness of a survivor of Domestic Violence

Forgiveness can be a huge issue for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence.  We are told in the bible to forgive one another as Christ forgives us.  Victims often want to forgive, but the anger and hurt can return again and again.  It can be a long and enduring process.

The seminar will look at some of the myths around forgiveness, recognising that forgiveness can be contentious.  Also covered - self forgiveness and forgiving someone who shows no contrition.
