 Each week in Churches, congregations say the Lord’s Prayer.Including the lines “Forgive us our sins, aswe forgive those who sin against us.” For somethese lines can be difficult, reading this part of the Lord’s Prayer as “I must forgive or I won’t be forgiven”.  But did God really mean that our forgiveness is conditional.

This seminar will look more deeply into the Lord's Prayer and the original language used, asking the question - what is really meant when we say As we forgive those who sin against us.

The seminar will also briefly look at the work of theologian Miroslav Volf.
