Different Women Yarnin’ inspires in Logan

Rainy skies couldn’t dampen the spirits of forty people attending a much enjoyed and informative International Women’s Day event held recently at Logan in Queensland. Australian Indigenous, Pacific Islander and non-Indigenous women were invited to bring along the joy of the Lord, open minds and hearts, to celebrate with sisters of different cultures and hear three inspirational speakers.

CTIPP recently worked with two young Aboriginal men, Elwyn Doolan, a Kuku Yalanji man with Cherbourg connections, and Steven Coghill, a Koenpal Yugerra man from Inala, to participate as panel members in the QPAC Clancestry Postcode Justice professional conversations held last Tuesday evening.
