Members of the Forum for Christians, Jews and Muslims took advantage of an opportunity to meet with a member of the World Council of Churches Interreligious Dialogue and Projects department Ms Clare Amos. The meeting took place at the Old Bishopsbourne Annexe, St Francis Theological College Brisbane on 10 August.
Clare was visiting Brisbane as one of the key note speakers for the Brisbane Anglican Diocesan Clergy Conference held on the Gold Coast from 13-16 August.
As well as outlining her work with the WCC and her interest in interreligious dialogue between Christians, Jews and Muslims, Clare was informed about the work of the Forum and the rich fellowship that has been forged between members over the past 8-10 years.
Clare has had a long interest in interreligious relations through her work in Jerusalem and Beirut as a biblical studies teacher and as an theological education advisor in the Anglican Communion office based in London.

She was able to inform Forum members of the latest interreligious projects the WCC is presently engaged in. Her brief visit was greatly appreciated by those who attended the meeting.
