“Praying and Working for Justice and Peace in Israel” is the title of a kit put together in June this year by the Canberra Working Group on Palestine-Israel in close association with staff of Christian World Service in the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) and the New South Wales Ecumenical Council (NSWEC – QCT’s counterpart in NSW).
The kit contains:
• A prayer card
• The statement on Palestine and Israel published by Australian Heads of Churches on 4th June 2008
• A four-page outline of theological issues, history and the current situation in Palestine-Israel
• A reflection: “It’s Time for Palestine”
• A series of maps of Palestine and Israel showing the relative division of land of both over the years since 1946.
