Did you know that one third of people in extreme poverty live in conflict affected areas? Countries affected by armed conflicts are caught in conflict-poverty cycles and are being left behind. These cycles last an average of 50 years and there are concerns that they are becoming harder to break.
Through the work of Christian World Services and its programs, such as the Christmas Bowl Appeal and act for peace, regular supporters like you can join with us in making a change. act for peace as we build new hope and peace in areas torn apart by conflict.
On average we raise $2million a year through our Christmas Bowl Appeal and we support work in 22 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific and in Australia.
