On a different note, the issue of investment is one that is often overlooked in considering what kind of witness our churches provide. What about the church superannuation funds many of us pay into, for example? This week we draw your attention to an initiative that focuses on where faith groups put their money.
You will see there is an opportunity to volunteer with the Romero Centre - please look into this possibility.
Volunteering is also relevant to QCT. We are wanting to find people who would enjoy working voluntarily as supporters of Christmas Bowl and other CWS programmes - and that could mean anything from the occasional mail-out to organizing a fundraising event. Any takers? We would love to hear from you.
